Albert Adgoke has recently founded an entertainment company in London. He was looking for a logo design to give his new business the professional image needed to stand out in a very crowded and competitive market. Albert discovered the Logo Quality website and was very impressed by the quality of work in the logo design portfolio and decided to give us a call.
Albert discussed his new business on the phone with one of our Design Project Managers. In fact, at the time of the call the trading name of the company was not fully decided. At Logo Quality we deal with hundreds of new businesses a month and are always willing to offer advice on design, branding or any other business matters in our remit.
The best thing about discussing your logo design project on the phone is that you can bounce ideas around with your Project Manager and we get a really good understanding of your business and ambitions. Here are some notes taken from the initial conversation for this project:
Company Description: Nigerian events organizer in London. Plans events with Nigerian performers, singers, rappers etc…Colors: Use Nigerian colors, Green, White, maybe gold and black
Text for logo: n4life OR n4life entertainment. Client is not sure if he wants upper or lower case letters or to include the word entertainment or not. Please show examples both ways.
Creative Strategy: Client wants a text based logo, possibly with a simple icon. Something unique and striking. Client would also like to see a unique typeface.”
All the creative notes are passed to the team of designers. We always use a team of 5 designers to maximise creative input. We will send around 5 initial logo designs and then work with the client, revising the design until it is just right.

Wendy Dalton of buddsnblooms came to us for a logo design for her florist shop that is to be launched this month in Leicester. Here is the information we received about this budding (couldn’t resist) new business.
“We are a florists, a modern outlook driven by classic design. Starting to trade from March 2009. We provide contemporary flower designs and traditional arrangements.”
Understanding the client’s business is a massive part of the logo design process. It is only possible to create great designs that are perfectly suited to a company once you have a good understanding of their business. When assigning designers to a project we always make sure they are fully briefed on the company and target audience.
Wendy went on to provide us with some ideas she had for the logo design:
“We want you to use a Gerbera flower(s) in the design. It must have a modern look with a contemporary twist.”
It is great when clients have ideas of their own for the logo designs but many do not and it doesn’t really matter. We have experienced designers that have created designs for virtually any industry you can think of. We always use a team of designers for logo projects allowing them to brainstorm and apply an abundance of creative experience to every project.
We provided the client with a good vareity of initial logo design choices and then worked with her to fine tune the design to perfection.
Within just 6 days we had turned the client’s ideas into a beautiful logo design which will represent their business for years to come alowing them to build a strong and memorable brand.
